Casa Las Flores

Break the routine

Welcome to Casa Las Flores!
A place lovingly designed and restored so that everyone who visits can feel at home and enjoy a few days of rest, far from the routine.

Casa Las Flores

Casa Las Flores is a rural house located in the village of Tíjola, in the province of Almería, nestled in the Almanzora Valley, in Andalusia.

This over one-hundred-year-old farmhouse was first renovated in 2011 and lovingly restored again in 2020.

The House

It’s a place with mobile coverage but no Wi-Fi — making it the ideal spot if what you’re looking for is to disconnect from everyday life.

The house has 5 bedrooms — 1 on the ground floor and 4 on the upper floor. It features a large open-plan kitchen and living room with a fireplace and wood-fired oven, a separate dining room, interior patio, outdoor porch, and two bathrooms.

Linving room & Kitchen

The first room in the house is an open-plan area that combines the living room and the kitchen. It features a large fireplace with a wood-fired oven. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes all the necessary cookware and utensils for cooking.

Dining Room

Located on the same floor as the kitchen and living room, the dining area features a spacious central table with ten chairs. However, the seating capacity can be extended to comfortably accommodate up to 13 guests. Next to the dining room, you'll find access to the interior patio.

In addition to the outdoor porch, the house features a small interior patio — a cozy spot to enjoy the fresh air with a bit more privacy and intimacy.

Bedrooms

Narciso (Narcissus)

Situated on the ground floor, this room offers a double bed, a spacious wardrobe, and a window overlooking the outdoors. It comes with its own key for privacy and ease.

Inspired by the flower’s meaning, the narcissus symbolizes renewal and new beginnings — embodying the promise of fresh starts and the preservation of cherished memories that last forever.

Dalia (Dahlia)

This double room features a small wardrobe, an exterior-facing window, and its own private key.

In floriography, the dahlia symbolizes the pursuit of adventure and boldness—a perfect reflection of this project’s spirit, embracing the challenge and excitement of a new venture.

This room features two double beds, a large wardrobe, a luggage bench, two exterior windows, a small balcony, and its own private key.

As a symbol of gratitude and abundance, the hydrangea represents the largest bedroom in the house—a heartfelt thanks to all who choose to share this space and to the history that has made it possible to breathe new life into this place.

Hortensia (Hydrangea)
Gerbera

This bedroom features a double bed and a single bed, a small wardrobe, a cozy balcony, and its own private key.

The motto of this room, “Where flowers bloom, so does hope,” perfectly reflects the flower’s symbolism. It represents the faith that positive feelings and purity can attract joy, love, and affection. There is always room to be reborn, to grow, and to find light even in the darkest moments.

Iris

This room has two single beds, a small wardrobe, an exterior window, and its own private key.

In Greek mythology, the iris flower represents the goddess of the rainbow, who connects the earthly world with the celestial. It was only fitting for Casa Las Flores to include this metaphor, symbolizing the hope of reuniting once again with those who have gone before us.

The STORY of Casa Las Flores

Casa Las Flores was born from a desire to give meaning to the place where we grew up — to create an identity for the house and its rooms, where the little details and their symbolism make each space special and unique.

The name of the house came naturally during the restoration process. What we knew from the start was what we wanted to convey: to communicate emotions and feelings.

So, we thought of flowers. Beyond their natural beauty and aesthetic value, flowers are present in many emotional moments of our lives, often surpassing the power of words. They are inherently linked to spring — a season associated with warmth, beauty, rebirth. That is why we decided to give flowers an important role in our house, connecting the concepts of nature and renewal with our own story.

Throughout the restoration, we felt flowers could be a unique way to express what we wanted Casa Las Flores to represent. Rather than mere decorative elements, flowers became messengers of values and emotions. Inspired by Victorian floriography, the ancient language of flowers, we found a symbolism that perfectly reflected our vision and what we wished to share. Each room was given a flower with special meaning, chosen for their connection to our story — their significance briefly reflected in the descriptions above.

Roots give us belonging — they connect us to our origins, give us a sense of identity, and remind us who we are. Flowers, in turn, represent growth and blossoming, mirroring our essence and our story.

Here, it is the memory of our grandparents that has planted in us the desire to nurture the house where their roots lie — and with your help, we are making that dream a reality.

All it takes is believing that in this space, anything is possible. And perhaps you, too, will find the energy to shed stress and uplift your spirit. At least, for a couple of days...
